Job summary

Lonza in Tampa, FL, is seeking a GMP Trainer for a 12-hour night shift on-site. The role involves designing and delivering training programs, supporting onboarding and qualification activities, and maintaining compliant training records to ensure regulatory and quality standards are met.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Safety teams, develop materials, and deliver both classroom and hands-on training, including safety, GMP, GDP, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in manufacturing, training, or a related environment.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience creating training content, assessments, and employee development materials.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and training records.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support training on all shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, on-the-job training programs, job aids, and assessments.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training covering safety, GMP, GDP, equipment operation, and site procedures.
• Support onboarding, qualification, cross-training, and refresher training programs.
• Maintain accurate training records, qualification documentation, and training matrices.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure training meets business and compliance requirements.
• Identify skill gaps and implement training solutions to improve employee performance and effectiveness.
• Support training activities across multiple shifts as business needs require.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds overhead without assistance.
• Ability to perform cleaning activities using a 20-foot wand above head height.
• Ability to wear respiratory protection, including respirators or powered air-purifying respirators, and required protective clothing.
• Ability to work in cold environments and perform physical tasks as required.
