Job summary

Lonza Portsmouth is seeking an Asset Training Specialist to develop and deliver training that supports manufacturing excellence in a GMP environment. You will design hands-on and classroom programs that prepare biotechnologists for safe, compliant operations and quality outcomes.

You’ll partner with manufacturing teams to onboard new staff and continuously improve training materials, including videos, guides, and digital tools. The role follows a 10-hour first-shift schedule in Portsmouth, NH.

Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Background in training, teaching, or developing others in a technical environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing training materials is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
• Passion for learning, teaching, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on and classroom training to biotechnologists in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Support onboarding of new employees and ongoing development of experienced staff.
• Develop engaging training materials, including videos, guides, and digital learning tools.
• Conduct interactive training sessions covering manufacturing, safety, and quality topics.
• Partner with stakeholders to align training programs with operational needs.
• Ensure all training activities meet compliance and quality standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert and support continuous improvement of training programs.
