Job summary

Ferring seeks a Maintenance and Shutdown Planner in Parsippany, NJ to lead end-to-end shutdown activities, coordinate across Maintenance, Validation, Quality and Operations, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will develop and track shutdown schedules using Microsoft Project, maintain action lists, and drive timely execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in an FDA-regulated environment, and strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Minimum five years in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Strong project management and documentation skills.
• Solid knowledge of cGMP principles and compliance.
• Proficient with Word, Excel; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end shutdown planning and accountability at the site.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Validation, Quality and Operations teams.
• Develop shutdown schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tool.
• Create and manage a shutdown planning action list with timely execution.
• Engage stakeholders including Maintenance and Production Leaders.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and timely documentation.
