Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in mid-to-senior facilities management or construction management.
• Technical skills: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; familiarity with facility automation.
• Soft skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Manage and train facilities staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintenance Oversight: Plan, coordinate, ensure completeness of maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards.
• Budget Management: Participate in developing and managing the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers for maintenance tasks.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
• Project Management: Plan and execute engineering projects, coordinating with other departments to meet goals.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and project status.
