Job summary

Made Scientific, a GMP cell therapy CDMO based in Princeton, New Jersey, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support EHS programs in our manufacturing environment. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, biosafety, hazardous materials handling, and employee training.

This full-time, onsite position requires travel about 20% weekly within a 50‑mile radius, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 3–5 years of EHS experience in regulated biotech settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, CDC/NIH Biosafety, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitor EHS metrics and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
