  • Team Management: Manage and train facilities staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards.
  • Budget Management: Participate in developing and managing the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with mid-to-senior level facilities management or construction management. Preferably in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or food manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; familiarity with facility automation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cell and gene therapy equipment.
  • Certification in equipment calibration and/or maintenance.
  • Certification in relevant tradeswork.
  • Relevant certification (e.g. Certified Facility Manager) are plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be willing to be gown qualified and work in a sterile facility, up to Grade B.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to bend, kneel, carry, reach, climb or stand on an elevated bench or step stool.
  • Must be willing to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be willing to work with cell‑based products, chemicals or hazardous materials.
