Job summary

US WorldMeds, LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager in Philadelphia, PA to lead site facilities, maintenance and reliability programs aligned with GMP, GDP and EHS standards. You will manage staff, third-party contractors and the facilities budget while ensuring inspection readiness.

You will collaborate with CMC, Quality, EHS and Engineering to balance priorities, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• 7+ years facilities or maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Prior experience in complex biotechnology and/or pharmaceuticals industry.
• Experience with GMP Quality Management System and related documentation.
• Staff leadership and budget management experience.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the building and utility maintenance program, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Review equipment history and optimize PM strategies.
• Investigate deficiencies using root cause analysis and solve problems.
• Align maintenance with stakeholder schedules to avoid disrupting manufacturing.
• Identify and stock critical spare parts and stand-by equipment.
• Oversee BAS/BMS monitoring and alarm responses.
• Lead facilities and engineering projects and manage vendor contracts.
• Represent Facilities during regulatory inspections and audits.
