Job summary

Moderna in Norwood, MA is seeking a winter/spring co‑op focused on automation, digital manufacturing, and data. From January 18, 2027 to June 25, 2027, you will gain hands‑on exposure to GMP manufacturing data, systems, and software within a regulated environment.

You will work with Manufacturing, Digital, Automation, Quality, and Engineering teams to analyze data, build dashboards, and support system integrations, documentation, and testing. This position is onsite full‑time with no remote work.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of programming, databases, APIs, automation, controls, version control or information systems from coursework or projects.
• Experience analyzing data using Python, Power BI, Tableau, Grafana or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn automation platforms, tools, and best practices from experienced engineers.
• Develop, configure, integrate, and test digital, automation, controls, and manufacturing systems (PCS, MES, data platforms, PLC-based).
• Develop, test, and deploy software apps, data products, APIs, integrations, or automation solutions for manufacturing needs.
