Moderna is seeking a winter/spring co-op in Norwood, MA to support digital, software, data, automation, and controls initiatives within GMP manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven manufacturing through dashboards, integrations, and analytics, gaining hands-on experience with regulatory data practices.

The role is 100% onsite, with opportunities to learn GMP systems and contribute to meaningful projects used by manufacturing operations teams.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering/CS/DS/IT/Biotech or related field.
• Basic understanding of programming, databases, APIs, automation, version control, or information systems.
• Experience analyzing data with Python, Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems in a methodical manner.
• Interest in GMP manufacturing and computerized systems.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Curiosity about process automation development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Learn automation platforms from experienced engineers.
• Assist configuring and testing digital, automation, controls, and manufacturing systems (PCS, MES, data platforms, PLC).
• Develop, test, and deploy software apps, data products, APIs, integrations, or automations.
• Apply software engineering practices for reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Build dashboards/reports using Power BI/Tableau/Grafana.
• Troubleshoot data flows between systems and reporting tools.
• Test changes to data systems before deployment.
• Document configurations, data flows, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Automation, Quality, and Digital teams to translate needs into requirements.
• Support investigations by collecting system data and logs.
• Participate in meetings and reviews.
• Assist with testing/validation activities for GMP systems.
• Review data trends and summarize for engineers/leads.
• Learn underlying manufacturing processes to contextualize data.
• Support GMP documentation/testing/validation.
• Follow GMP standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
