Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN seeks a GMP Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment in an aseptic, cGMP environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vial/syringe lines, filling stations, and related systems.

The role requires reading technical manuals, diagnosing issues, and maintaining strict documentation. You will work with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to minimize downtime and keep regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

GMP-regulated environment experience preferred.
2+ years in equipment maintenance within pharma/CDMO.
Familiarity with validation, calibration, and qualification processes.
GMP, SOP, and FDA guideline knowledge.
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP equipment.
Address mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues affecting production.
Maintain documentation: work orders, logs, calibration records.
Support commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality to improve equipment readiness.
