Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN is hiring manufacturing technicians to support formulations and filling operations in a GMP environment. You will perform cleaning, aseptic transfers, equipment prep, and documentation to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have 1+ year in pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a cleanroom and wear PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Understanding of GMP and GDP standards.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with technical documentation.
• Mathematical skills for measurements (volume, weight).
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas.
• Prepare and transfer materials for production with proper aseptic handling.
• Operate and maintain equipment across production processes.
• Complete GMP batch records, deviations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, engineering, validation, and maintenance teams.
• Load/unload sterilization equipment and assist with filling lines.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain a consistent presence on the manufacturing floor.
