Job summary

August Bioservices, based in Nashville, TN, is seeking a GMP Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of production equipment. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a cGMP environment with attention to GMP/FDA guidelines.

You will perform preventive maintenance, address mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
2+ years in equipment maintenance in GMP-regulated environments, pharma/CDMO ideal.
Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing systems and GMP validation.
Strong understanding of GMP regulations, SOPs, and FDA guidelines.
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics; lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP equipment.
Identify mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues impacting production.
Document work orders, logs, calibration records, and equipment history.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to drive improvements.
Support commissioning and qualification of new equipment installations.
