Job summary

Lexington Health in Columbia, SC, seeks a GME Transitional Year Program Manager to collaborate with Residency Directors and oversee accreditation, recruitment, budgeting, and program operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2 Years of Program Management Experience and/or GME Experience.
• Active TAGME certification (or must achieve within 3 Years of entry into the role)
• Must be willing to attend Lexington Medical Center Transition to Leadership Program within 6 months of position

Responsibilities

• Manages all components of ACGME accreditation to include self-studies, site visits, special reviews, and documentation for GMEC approval.
• Oversees HR functions for residents including employment requirements, visas (when applicable), time off/leaves of absence, and payroll; assists with verifications, student loans, etc.
• Plans and manages resident recruitment activities, interview logistics, rank order process, and related materials.
• Manages curriculum administrative functions including mapping core competencies, milestones, evaluations, and documentation in ADS.
• Plans and implements departmental events including orientation, graduation, program retreats, and APE.
• Maintains data entry into GME residency management software and ERAS; oversees NRMP responsibilities.
• Manages resident rotations and call schedules; analyzes CMS cost report compliance with work-hour requirements.
• Oversees program finances including budget development and expenditure management.
• Participates in policy development and communicates processes to residents.
