Creighton University is seeking a Program Manager for GME to lead accreditation activities, support residents/fellows, and coordinate recruitment and scheduling across the residency programs.
The role focuses on developing curricula, managing budgets, and maintaining relations with faculty, trainees, and external entities to ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.
The Program Manager must possess skills in leadership and personnel management. GME Program Managers are expected to develop unique knowledge of the ACGME Core and Program Requirements, policies, and procedures. The program managers assist in accreditation efforts, educational programming, and support of residents/fellows. Responsible for recruiting and on-boarding trainees, developing projects, managing program financials, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees and managing internal and external program relations. Is also responsible for assisting with: Annual Program Evaluations, Program Evaluation and Clinical Competency Committee, ACGME site visits, Annual Program Review, ACGME Milestone reporting and Self Studies.
Tracks accreditation data; completes surveys and reports; coordinates site visits, self-studies, and special reviews; maintains Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) minutes and action items.
Manages ERAS, NRMP, and SOAP processes; coordinates applicant communications, interviews, recruitment events, and rank meetings.
Maintains schedules in the residency management system; coordinates call schedules, leave, and work hour compliance.
Serves as liaison between the Program Director, residents/fellows, and the GME Office; submits required documentation; provides administrative support and guidance.
Supports PEC curriculum planning; manages evaluations, conference attendance, orientation materials, and conference logistics.
Coordinates program communications, meetings, agendas, minutes, website updates, and visiting resident/fellow arrangements.
Monitors program budget and spending; tracks professional development funds; coordinates travel and reimbursements; assists with budget projections.
Distributes and interprets program policies and procedures for residents and fellows.
Manages leave, credentialing, licensure, compliance requirements, J-1 visa documentation, and administrative support for residents and fellows.
Coordinates educational, wellness, and social events; manages event logistics, swag, address lists, and, when applicable, proctors the annual in-training examination.
