Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a GME Program Coordinator to serve as the administrative backbone for one or more graduate medical education programs. The role partners with the program director and the GME Office to manage operations, policies, and data across residency training.

Strong initiative and knowledge of national accreditation are essential to success. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, updating policies, and directing program planning, projects, and liaison work

Qualifications

• Administrative support experience. An associate’s degree and three years of administrative, office, or project support experience needed.
• Willingness to obtain Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification within 3 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative tasks for one or more GME programs.
• Collaborate with the program director and the GME Office in daily operations.
• Manage residency program data and processes in MedHub.
• Serve as liaison between residency program leadership, residents, fellows, faculty and affiliated sites.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME guidelines and program policies.
