Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an academic and/or administrative healthcare setting.
• Experience in Graduate Medical Education preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; may be substituted for Associate's Degree and/or 2+ years of GME experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Residency/Fellow tracking software (New Innovations).
• Knowledge of ACGME rules/regulations.
• Familiarity with residency program software including ERAS and NRMP.

Responsibilities

• The GME Program Administrator supports multiple functions of the GME training programs and serves as the liaison for external entities by assisting with day-to-day management of resident or fellow training.
• Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving in organizing and prioritizing work.
• Provides specialized service requiring understanding of practices, policies, procedures and oversight.
• Exhibits excellent organizational, administrative and writing capabilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintains expertise in computers and database management; handles confidential information with good judgment.
