Job summary

The University of Miami’s GME Program Administrator in Miami oversees the daily operations of residency and fellowship programs in the Department of Surgery. You will support the program directors and residents to ensure all tasks meet ACGME standards and institutional requirements.

You will coordinate recruitment, manage the NRMP Match process, maintain the resident management system and ERAS updates, and liaise with faculty and external stakeholders while protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative operations for one or more residency or fellowship programs.
• Assist Program Directors in developing and maintaining educational quality and ensuring compliance with ACGME standards.
• Coordinate NRMP Match process, interviews, marketing materials, and candidate tracking.
• Serve as liaison for faculty, lecturers, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain resident management systems, update demographics, schedules, and duty hours reporting.
• Ensure ERAS updates and timely submission of required reports.
• Adhere to policies and safeguard program data and university assets.
