Job summary

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a Program Administrator to lead the Graduate Medical Education program, ensuring accreditation, non-clinical operations and financial management. You will work with the Program Director and residency leadership to plan, recruit, and maintain compliance with national policies.

The role requires detailed knowledge of accreditation standards, initiative and independent judgment, and collaboration with hospital offices to support residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Understanding of national accreditation policies.
• Ability to plan short- and long-term goals with initiative and independent judgment.
• Collaborate with residency/fellow leadership and GME office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continued program accreditation and site visit readiness.
• Oversee residency/fellow data management system and portfolios.
• Manage program budgets and CME budgets in line with policy.
• Coordinate recruitment, interview days, and NRMP/CODA processes.
• Develop and implement program policies and goals; interpret regulations.
