Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Surgery is seeking a Full Time GME Coordinator 2 in Miami to support residency and fellowship programs. The role focuses on onboarding, scheduling, records maintenance, credentialing, and reimbursement processing to ensure ACGME compliance.

You will serve as the primary resource for GME activities, coordinating lectures, calendars, and communications with faculty, residents, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily administrative operations for one or more residency or fellowship programs.
• Coordinates recruitment efforts and NRMP Match process activities.
• Onboards new residents/fellows and schedules orientations.
• Maintains program calendars, communications, and documentation.
• Updates ERAS and maintains resident demographics and duty hours data.
• Assists in training new GME Coordinators and supports governance meetings.
