Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer to architect, build, and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment. The role focuses on Terraform-based provisioning, Kubernetes management, and CI/CD automation within hybrid cloud setups (AWS and Azure).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC deployments.
• Proficiency in building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on operational experience in enterprise cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Windows Server administration, Active Directory, GPOs, and SCCM experience.
• Experience with STIG analysis, deployment orchestration, and security/code scanning tools.
• Experience with IDEs such as Coder.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (DoD baseline).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect IDDE DevSecOps env with Terraform for scalable deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps with Kubernetes for high availability.
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to fully automate build, test, and deploy.
• Serve as IDDE system administrator across hybrid AWS/Azure environments.
• Embed security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deliverables, releases, and comprehensive deployment documentation.
