McCall’s Catering and Events in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operation of a new upscale casual dining concept. You will oversee day-to-day service, food quality and profitability, working across front and back of house.

Candidates should reside within commuting distance of San Francisco. The role offers a collaborative hospitality team, opportunities to shape a new venture, and the chance to influence growth in a high-volume

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or General Manager in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and customer service in a management role.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Experience across front and back of house; strong wine knowledge.
• Familiarity with restaurant management systems (POS) and basic finance.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily front- and back-of-house operations with department heads.
• Deliver high standards of service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond quickly to customer concerns.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Review staff performance and provide feedback.
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Monitor product quality and work with vendors.
• Manage operating costs and identify waste reduction opportunities.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety compliance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual revenue and expense reports.
• Support the restaurant’s image within the local community.
• Assist with events and local marketing activity.
• Implement policies and procedures that support effective operations.
