Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in Minnesota to lead guest experience, oversee daily operations, and coach hourly team members toward sales and service goals. You will manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and readiness of the sales floor while upholding safety and compliance standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and a guest-first culture, with opportunities for development, onboarding, and collaboration across store teams in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure team understands and delivers Target's guest experience commitments and operations.
• Provide feedback, coach and develop hourly team members to improve performance.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store goals and engage guests.
• Educate team on procedures to manage inventory, pricing and stock levels.
• Model ethical conduct, safety, and compliance with policies and procedures.
