Job summary

Target in Carrollton, GA is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to guide daily operations, guest services, and team performance within our General Merchandise division.

You will lead hourly team members, plan workload, ensure shelves are stocked and correctly priced, and coach staff to uphold Target’s standards while maintaining safety and compliance. This role emphasizes delivering a positive guest experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure team members are trained and consistently deliver on Target’s guest experience commitments and store operations.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals, including receiving, merchandising, signing, and price changes.
• Educate and coach team members to improve performance, product availability, and store profitability.
• Support safety, compliance with policies, and maintain a safe, welcoming workplace.
