Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader in Texas. You will lead hourly team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience, manage daily operations, and help drive store sales with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvements.

The role requires leading by example, coaching teammates, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment. Prior retail experience and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a welcoming store environment
• Lead a team of hourly team members and coaches them to meet performance goals
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support store priorities and drive sales
• Audit operations for accuracy, pricing and availability and address gaps
• Assign tasks and manage responsibilities to meet store goals and guest needs
• Support store safety and compliance with policies and procedures
