Justworks, based in New York City, is seeking a General Manager & Director of Commercial Strategy to be the Directly Responsible Individual for the Payroll FY27 plan. You will own outcomes—revenue, expansion, and margin—and drive the commercial strategy to scale customer acquisition and monetization.

You will report to the CMO organization and lead cross-functional efforts across Marketing, Technology, Operations, Product, Finance, Revenue, and Risk & Insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with a track record of owning a business line, P&L, or comparable end-to-end commercial outcome.
• Demonstrated experience as a co-founder, General Manager, DRI or business owner—personally accountable for revenue, margin, or growth, not solely program coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity with data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Executive presence and ability to influence across functions without direct authority.

Responsabilités

• Own the Payroll business and financial outcomes, including revenue, expansion, and margin commitments.
• Lead the commercial strategy to scale customer acquisition and monetization across ICP.
• Drive cross-functional execution across Marketing, Technology, Operations, Product, Finance, Revenue, and Risk & Insurance.
• Represent Payroll in leadership forums with data-driven arguments and clear financial impact.
