Job summary

Target in Joliet seeks a General Merchandise Team Leader to drive guest experience and store productivity. You will lead daily workload, ensure stock and pricing accuracy, and coach hourly teammates to meet sales and service goals.

You’ll participate in hiring, onboarding, and continuous development while maintaining a safe, compliant and inviting store environment for guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly workload to achieve department goals and guest experience metrics.
• Coach and develop hourly team members through training and feedback.
• Ensure product is in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
• Oversee signing, merchandising, and fulfillment processes to support store operations.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and evaluating team performance.
