Job summary

Chapman Chevrolet in Philadelphia is seeking a GM Shop Foreman to lead the service department and assist our management team in elevating the store to world-class standards. The role focuses on helping technicians and Advisors advance and sharing knowledge to drive performance.

The GM Shop Foreman will monitor scheduling, warranties, and repair orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction and directing apprentices under supervision. Competitive compensation provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years GM experience is required.
• Gold certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules shop work to maximize productivity and aligns with dealership policy.
• Prioritizes and controls comebacks to ensure timely repair.
• Reviews repair orders and tracks time/cost estimates with service advisors.
• Maintains warranty material disposition procedures.
• Keeps strong communication with service advisors and management.
• Supervises apprentices and reports equipment or safety issues.
