Job summary

McCluskey Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead daily shop operations in a high-volume dealership. You will guide technicians, optimize workflow, and ensure quality repairs that adhere to GM standards.

The role requires advanced diagnostic skills, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A focus on customer satisfaction and team development is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-volume automotive repair shop.
• Proven leadership experience as a Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a servant leadership style.
• Monday-Friday and Saturday availability.
• GM dealership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations in a high-volume service environment.
• Assign repair orders based on technician skill level and workload.
• Monitor cycle time, productivity and efficiency to meet dealership targets.
• Provide advanced diagnostic and repair support to technicians and act as escalation point.
• Ensure repairs meet GM standards and are performed correctly the first time.
• Mentor and develop technicians to improve skills and certifications.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
• Assist with estimating, productivity tracking, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
