Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is seeking experienced Master Automotive Technicians for Cadillac of Las Vegas. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of GM vehicles with emphasis on EV systems and high-quality workmanship.

We offer strong training, a competitive benefits package, and a flat-rate pay structure. Ideal candidates have GM experience, ASE certifications, and at least 3 years in a dealership setting, with EV/hybrid knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have General Motors experience.
• At least 3+ years of automotive dealership, repair experience, flat rate candidates.
• ASE certifications (A1–A8, L1, or L3) and/or manufacturer certifications.
• Experience or training in electric and hybrid vehicle systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete work according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Accurately document repair orders and communicate findings with service advisors.
• Maintain productivity levels in a flat rate pay structure.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology, including EV systems.
