Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a highly capable Growth Architect in Mountain View to design and ship AI-driven growth loops, own budgets, and drive monetization experiments. You will translate complex tests into clear recommendations for executives and clients, while collaborating with engineering on measurement and rapid iteration.

The role combines hands-on coding (Python/SQL/JS) with analytics, budget ownership, and the ability to present business cases to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in CS/Engineering from a top-tier university (MBA a plus).
• Hands-on coding ability to build and ship (Python/SQL/JS) and familiarity with growth analytics tools.
• 3+ years in growth engineering, performance marketing, or technical growth roles, with budget ownership.
• Excellent communication and executive presence to explain growth concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship technical growth mechanisms: acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, referral loops, activation triggers, and monetization experiments.
• Own and optimize acquisition budgets and channels, and define tracking specs and analytics events with engineering for measurement and iteration.
• Rapidly prototype and test growth hypotheses across new AI products.
• Build the business case for new growth bets, including market sizing and go-to-market strategy, and present to senior executives.
• Translate growth experiments into clear recommendations and secure buy-in from decision-makers.
