Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Omaha is seeking an Assistant GM Department Manager to help plan, organize, staff, train, and direct GM Department associates.

You will perform production tasks and customer service functions while maximizing store sales and profits safely and ethically according to Dillons policies. You will maintain merchandising, signage, pricing, inventory, and product rotation; lead by example, communicate with both employees and customers, and enforce dress code, safety, and harassment

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Manager in organizing work, staffing and scheduling to ensure prompt service.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, accidents and questions.
• Maintain signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity and space allocation.
• Use CAO to manage ordering and balance on hand; ensure proper accounting of products received.
• Perform and direct pricing and display of merchandise.
