Job summary

Hudson Automotive Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking GM Certified Technicians to join our award-winning, high-volume service team. We offer top pay with a $75k–$150k annual earning potential, production bonuses, and a yearly retention bonus.

Sign-on bonus for qualified technicians plus paid vacation and accrued PTO. Mentorship opportunities exist for career development within our growing group of dealerships.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years automotive technician experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using tools and equipment.
• Repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed repairs and time estimates.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specs and coordinate with parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License
• 2-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
• Manufacturer experience preferred
• Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
