Job summary

Hudson Automotive Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking GM Certified Technicians to join our high-volume service team. You will perform repairs and maintenance per repair orders, test-drive vehicles, and communicate with the Service Advisor about additional work needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• 2–5+ years automotive technician experience.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in adherence to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
