ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts in operations, process, and efficiency who ensure a consistent guest experience by managing product placement, stock, pricing, and signage. This team handles inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory, presentation, and promotional signage for all GM areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service, ensuring a fresh and safe experience. They also support efficient delivery through pick, pack, and ship fulfillment.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will:

• Create a welcoming experience for guests
• Assist guests based on body language and verbal cues
• Engage genuinely and ask questions to understand guest needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
• Thank guests sincerely for shopping at Target
• Ensure sales floor is zoned, stocked, signed, and priced correctly
• Prioritize workload with leadership support
• Set up signage and execute inbound, replenishment, and signing processes
• Maintain inventory accuracy and presentation standards
• Follow operational procedures and safety policies
• Support guest services, including cashiering and digital fulfillment
• Perform other duties as needed
