Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) seeks a People Systems Director to lead the strategy, optimization, and ongoing management of the Workday HRIS. Based in Duluth, GA, you will ensure the platform supports HR processes, regulatory compliance, and data integrity across global operations.

You will mentor a team of HRIS analysts and Workday product owners, partner with HR and IT, and drive adoption, training, and continuous improvement across regions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Workday HRIS implementations and global operations, preferably as a director.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM modules and global HR system integrations.
• Strong understanding of international HR processes, compliance, and data privacy laws.
• Proven leadership with multicultural teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and ability to deliver large-scale initiatives on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmap for Workday HRIS across HR and business objectives.
• Manage Workday optimization, upgrades, configurations, and integrations.
• Oversee HR data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to deliver HRIS support and innovations.
• Direct a team of HRIS analysts and product owners.
• Drive user training, adoption, and global support.
• Monitor system performance and lead continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets and vendor relationships for Workday services.
