Job summary

Amazon's Network Access Technology team seeks a senior engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable network access solutions across the global fulfillment network. You will drive automation, zero-touch deployment pipelines, and self-healing workflows while partnering with firmware, field operations, and infra teams.

You will apply 8+ years of IP networking, BGP/OSPF/MPLS, and Cisco IOS/JunOS expertise, plus strong Unix/Linux scripting. This is an on-site role based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• 3+ methods of automation scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl).
• 8+ years of IP networking fundamentals and robust troubleshooting.
• 8+ years experience with major routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, ISIS.
• 8+ years working with Cisco IOS and/or Junos.
• 3+ years experience with Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy network access solutions across wireless and wired technologies.
• Own end-to-end project delivery from requirements through deployment and validation.
• Build automation frameworks for configuration, validation, and zero-touch deployment.
• Develop remediation workflows and anomaly detection for self-healing networks.
• Collaborate across teams to balance performance, cost, and operational simplicity.
