Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Manager to lead the Global WHS Program implementation at a Savannah site. You will act as safety champion, performing risk assessments, audits, and data-driven improvements while partnering with Operations to balance safety and productivity.

The role requires 3+ years in WHS, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to travel 50-70% with shift variability. Master’s degree and CSP certification are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Lean principles and process improvement experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS program implementation and safety leadership across the site.
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and implement preventive solutions.
• Drive safety initiatives in partnership with Operations leadership to improve culture and compliance.
• Manage first aid, emergency response capabilities, and audits; monitor incident trends.
