Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Wellness Regulatory Lead in the United States to drive global regulatory strategies for wellness categories, partnering with R&D and Commercial to translate science into approved consumer propositions and launches.

The role emphasizes embedding regulatory excellence across the product lifecycle, balancing speed to market with compliance, and building relationships with regulators. Based in a hybrid setup with US markets, it offers a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or related; MSc/PhD preferred.
• 10–15 years in regulatory affairs in FMCG/consumer healthcare/pharma, preferably wellness.
• Strong expertise in global regulatory frameworks for dietary supplements, vitamins, minerals, and digestive health.
• Proven track record delivering regulatory strategies for global launches and pipelines.
• Experience partnering with R&D, Commercial, and cross-functional teams in matrix orgs.
• Knowledge of claims substantiation, labeling, and product registration across markets.
• Experience in regulatory advocacy, external engagement, and influencing industry positions.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, anticipate risks, and drive solutions in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D and Commercial to translate science into approved claims and launch path.
• Provide regulatory insights to enable differentiated consumer propositions.
• Embed regulatory considerations early to improve predictability.
• Provide SME to anticipate challenges and unblock projects.
• Balance speed to market with compliance and quality in decision-making.
• Guide teams on evolving regulatory requirements across global markets.
• Support regulatory engagement, including position papers and advocacy.
• Build relationships with regulatory bodies and industry groups.
• Ensure documentation and data integrity across regulatory deliverables.
