Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President of Procurement Operations to lead the firmwide Purchase-to-Order function, enabling $5B+ procurement and shaping the operating model for 70K+ colleagues access to goods and services.

You will own end-to-end procurement execution, governance, and risk, partnering with Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver secure, scalable procurement at scale across the firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in procurement or supply chain within large regulated organizations.
• Ownership of enterprise-scale Purchase-to-Order operations with $500M+ annual spend.
• Experience with GEP, SAP Ariba, or Coupa including catalog management and contract compliance.
• Experience managing technology spend (software, SaaS, cloud, hardware).
• Strong governance and regulatory experience (SOX, OCC, FRB).

Responsibilities

• Own firmwide Purchase-to-Order operations with end-to-end accountability.
• Translate technology strategy into scalable procurement execution.
• Define and govern the procurement catalog for standardization and savings.
• Own procurement governance, risk, and controls including audits.
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance on procurement decisions.
• Lead and scale procurement teams of 20+ with a culture of accountability.
