Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior product leader to own and grow a global portfolio of electrical protection solutions. You will drive lifecycle management, pricing, strategic planning, and cross-functional initiatives across sales, marketing, engineering, and finance.

You will lead NPI, product positioning, and portfolio governance while leveraging data analytics and digital tools to propel revenue growth and profitability on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or similar field.
• 7+ years of product management experience.
• Experience leading product portfolios and driving business performance.
• Experience developing business cases and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Management of product lifecycle management and commercialization processes.
• Financial insights with P&L management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer a global portfolio that delivers sales, profitability, and cash flow objectives.
• Develop annual operating plans, strategic growth plans, and multi-year portfolio roadmaps.
• Lead pricing strategy and margin improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular financial analysis, forecasting, and business reviews.
• Drive alignment between customer requirements, market opportunities, and operational capabilities.
• Lead the product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life.
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) and commercialization efforts.
• Lead product positioning, segmentation, and value proposition.
• Drive product rationalization.
• Lead product data integrity and portfolio governance.
• Lead development and implementation of digital sales tools.
• Influence adoption of digital customer engagement capabilities.
• Leverage AI and data analytics to improve portfolio performance and decision-making.
