Job summary

The Nikkiso Applied Technologies Business Unit is hiring a Vice President Operations to lead and manage its global fabrication centers, drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost, and sponsoring lean manufacturing initiatives across the fabrication centers. As a key strategic leader reporting the Business Unit President, this position will be responsible for the profit and loss of the centers.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience managing industrial equipment fabrication with P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading multiple production facilities domestically and internationally.
• Strong emphasis on safety and quality systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain management is a plus.
• Analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Global operational responsibility for fabrication centers including metal fabrication and welding.
• Review product rationalization and advise on global manufacturing strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Project Management to optimize capacity and budgets.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency using best practices.
• Establish production standards, budgets, and strategic data use for planning.
• Develop manufacturing process plans including safety and facility needs.
• Coordinate production activities with all functions and suppliers.
• Explore supply chain localization and strategic agreements for efficiency.
