Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead global fabrication centers, drive safety and quality, and sponsor lean initiatives across the unit. This senior role reports to the Business Unit President and manages profit and loss for multiple centers.

The position emphasizes data-driven, standardized methods to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and continuous improvement while fostering a customer-focused, globally collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or operations management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10–15 years in industrial equipment fabrication with P&L responsibility, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong focus on safety and quality systems; able to lead safety and quality teams.
• Experience running multiple production facilities domestically and internationally is preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and vendor management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Global operational responsibility for fabrication centers, including metal fabrication and welding.
• Review and rationalize global products; advise on manufacturing strategy for cryogenic equipment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and PM to optimize capacity, budgets and schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs via manufacturing process improvements.
• Establish production standards, budgets, and use data to drive delivery dates and performance.
• Lead development and execution of manufacturing process plans, including safety and purchasing needs.
• Coordinate manufacturing with other functions and suppliers for optimal utilization.
• Seek opportunities to localize and verticalize the supply chain for scale.
