Job summary

Celgard seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead global manufacturing strategy and execution across three plants, engineering and quality. The role drives lean, cost efficiency, safety and reliability while guiding transformation and a high-performance culture.

Reports to the President with cross-functional accountability worldwide. The incumbent will align Celgard strategy with site operations, develop leaders, manage CAPEX, and coordinate with our JV in China to optimize cost and ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• 15+ years leading manufacturing, with plant-level and expansion experience.
• 5+ years multi-site/global oversight experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills; Lean Six Sigma mastery.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, quality improvement and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to global operations and site leadership teams.
• Develop manufacturing strategies, capability building and footprint optimization.
• Lead lean initiatives, optimize costs and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee Capex, global projects and ramping across plants and joint ventures.
• Collaborate across R&D, supply chain, quality, and finance to drive performance.
