Job summary

Celgard LLC is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead global manufacturing strategy and execution across three plants. You will drive lean processes, cost optimization, and reliability while building strong leadership across sites.

This role reports to the Celgard president and collaborates with R&D, supply chain, and finance to meet strategic objectives. Travel up to 30% domestically and abroad; oversee CAPEX and transformation initiatives, ensuring safety, quality and continuous

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of leadership in manufacturing.
• Five+ years of multi-site/global oversight experience.
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational excellence.
• Experience building high-performing leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision to the global operations teams and align shop-floor culture with Celgard strategy.
• Develop manufacturing strategies, capability building and footprint optimization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Incorporate cost control, quality assurance and regulatory compliance into processes.
• Lead division engineering, process optimization and project execution to meet goals.
• Build and lead site leadership teams and ensure EHS/regulatory compliance.
• Oversee CAPEX budgets and global project management for engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, SMS, sales and finance across functions.
• Monitor and improve network performance metrics and drive productivity.
