Celgard, LLC, a Celgard division of Asahi Kasei, seeks a Vice President of Operations in Charlotte, NC to lead global manufacturing strategy and execution. You will drive lean initiatives, cost efficiency, quality and safety across three plants, with direct reporting lines to the Celgard President.

You will partner with R&D, supply chain, and finance to transform operations, champion culture changes, and deliver strong performance through a high-performing leadership team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, including plant leadership and expansions.
• 5+ years of multi-site oversight experience; global experience preferred.
• Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to drive actions.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience building high-performing leaders and teams and delivering goals.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership to global operations and drive lean implementation across Celgard.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies, including capability building and footprint optimization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Integrate cost control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance into manufacturing.
• Lead division engineering, design, process optimization, and project execution.
• Build and develop site leadership teams and ensure EHS and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee capital budgets, global projects, and engineering implementations.
• Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, marketing, sales and finance.
• Monitor network performance metrics and drive shop-floor productivity.
