Job summary

Cotiviti seeks a VP of Engineering to define and execute the product engineering strategy for global, cloud-based software. You will lead distributed teams, collaborate with Product, Design, and GTM, and drive high-quality delivery of scalable SaaS solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-centric development, architectural leadership, and close partnership with executive leadership to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience with strong focus on product development.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and leaders of leaders.
• Experience delivering customer-facing SaaS products.
• Experience with cloud-based application development environments.
• Proven ability to align engineering delivery with business goals and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive leader for a global product engineering organization.
• Partner with Product Management to define priorities and deliver high-quality software products.
• Lead distributed engineering teams across multiple locations.
• Focus on AI Coding and AI DLC driven development, deployment and Quality.
• Drive SaaS and cloud-based product development.
• Plan and manage engineering budgets and resources.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across product systems.
• Act as a technical advisor to executive leadership.
• Contribute to design decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Engage with customers and support go-to-market and sales initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions to promote a customer-focused culture.
• Contribute to annual planning and product strategy.
• Hire, develop, coach, and retain top talent.
