Job summary

Clearbrook Holdings Inc. seeks a VP of Ceded Reinsurance to lead end-to-end outward treaty placements across property and casualty lines.

This role partners with Argo Casualty, Argo Specialty, Farm Family, and Runoff, structuring complex programs and managing global broker and reinsurer relationships to protect the group’s capital and balance sheet. You will drive negotiations, oversee regulatory compliance, and present strategic updates to the Reinsurance Committee, including the CEO and CFO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Reinsurance experience (broking, underwriting, or buying/ceded).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with senior executives and global stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of insurance, reinsurance, and actuarial principles as they relate to contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end placement of multiple annual treaty placements; manage timelines and execution.
• Prepare external submissions for the global reinsurance market.
• Serve as primary liaison among underwriting, claims, actuarial, capital modeling, exposure management, finance, and group legal.
