Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Computer, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on machine-vision, automated inspection, metrology, or vision-system integration experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cameras, optics, lighting, 2D/3D sensing, image processing, and robustness in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CBS global technical process owner for machine-vision and automated-inspection systems across sites.
• Define the machine-vision technology roadmap and evaluate 2D/3D vision, OCR/OCV, and AI/deep-learning inspection.
• Translate CTQs/CTFs, PFMEA risks, and defect criteria into measurable inspection requirements and specs.
• Develop robust vision solutions by optimizing cameras, lighting, sensors, and algorithms.
• Deploy proven inspection concepts globally through specs, FAT/SAT, and training.
• Own vision-system readiness through prototypes and phase-gate criteria; manage documentation and training.
