Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Lead UX Designer to own experience strategy across mobile, web, kiosk, and POS for a flagship portfolio. You will partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape user-centered design and evolve design systems.

Responsibilities include leading discovery through delivery, creating personas and journey maps, conducting usability research, and advocating accessibility while advancing the PDLC within our global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX or related field
• 8+ years of UX/Product design experience
• Experience designing customer-facing digital experiences across mobile and web
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering teams
• Experience developing user journeys, personas, and design strategies
• Experience establishing or evolving design systems and component libraries

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the user experience vision across mobile, web, kiosk, and point-of-sale experiences
• Lead user-centered design efforts from discovery through delivery
• Own personas, journey maps, experience frameworks, and interaction models
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns
• Partner closely with Engineering to translate designs into high-quality experiences
• Conduct and oversee usability testing, customer interviews, journey mapping, and prototype validation
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs
• Champion accessibility, usability, and modern UX best practices within the PDLC
• Influence product direction and modernization of customer-facing experiences
