Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a visionary Head of Product Solution Design to lead our end-to-end product design function. You will oversee UX/UI designers, researchers, and design strategists, crafting intuitive user journeys that align with business goals and deliver exceptional value to customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Experience designing digital fintechs/payments at scale (fintech, crypto, etc.).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design leadership and impact.
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Deep understanding of human-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile/scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to influence executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Product Designers, UX/UI Designers, Design Researchers, and UX Writers.
• Advocate for design excellence and user-centric thinking across the organization including Coins Payment and other products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams to ensure cohesive product experiences.
• Oversee end-to-end design process from discovery and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
• Implement design systems, frameworks, and tools that drive consistency and efficiency at scale.
• Champion design thinking and research-led innovation, integrating user feedback and data into decisions.
• Ensure designs are accessible, inclusive, and optimized for all platforms (mobile, web, etc.).
• Own the entire user journey and experience lifecycle, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure user satisfaction, usability, and design impact.
• Drive initiatives to improve onboarding, engagement, conversion, and retention through design.
• Communicate design vision and updates to stakeholders at all levels.

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Product Solution Design to lead our end-to-end product design function. This role will oversee our talented team of UX/UI designers, researchers, and product design strategists. You will be responsible for crafting delightful, intuitive, and seamless user journeys that align with our business goals and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

As the design leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience across all touchpoints—defining the design language, elevating design thinking within the organization, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and business stakeholders to bring innovative, user-centric solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy


• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Product Solution Design function under Global Product team.


• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Product Designers, UX/UI Designers, Design Researchers, and UX Writers.

• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from discovery and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.


• Implement design systems, frameworks, and tools that drive consistency and efficiency at scale.


• Champion design thinking and research-led innovation, integrating user feedback and data into all design decisions.


• Ensure designs are accessible, inclusive, and optimized for all platforms (mobile, web, etc.).


• User Experience & Journey Ownership


• Own the entire user journey and experience lifecycle, identifying pain points and opportunities for continuous improvement.


• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure user satisfaction, usability, and design impact.


• Drive initiatives to improve user onboarding, engagement, conversion, and retention through superior design.


• Collaboration & Communication


• Act as the voice of the user in strategic discussions and decision-making forums.


• Effectively communicate design vision, strategies, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.


• Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning within the design team and beyond.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or user experience strategy, with at least 4 years in a leadership or head-of-role.


• Proven experience designing for digital products at scale (fintech, crypto, super apps, payments, or e-commerce experience preferred).


• Strong portfolio demonstrating deep expertise in design strategy, user journeys, and end-to-end product design.


• Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma.


• Deep understanding of human-centered design, accessibility principles, and responsive design.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile/scrum environments.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate into design insights.


• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to influence executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in behavioral science, design psychology, or UX research is a plus.


• Prior experience in fintech, payments, digital wallets, or blockchain/crypto industries.


• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
